Hello, Journal!

Long time no see! Quite a bit has changed from my last post I'm afraid, as I have gotten quite lazy and have forgotten to update it for some time. But I've gotten all of those goals in the previous post nailed, aside from the "post 8 hand histories on the forums" post. You see, last week was when I started playing poker again after a 4 month hiatus from the game. There I had stopped at ~$510. It was months of struggle at .05/.10 to get to around $550, at which I then proceeded to move up to .10/.25. Then, running worse than ever, combined with another half of monkey tilt (nothing new here :P), I brought my bankroll back to a $360 something dollars. Moved back down to .05/.10, grinded it back up to $510, then quit for 4 months. And now, here are my graphs for the week:
Around the ~2403 hand mark is how I did at .05/.10, the downhill slope is .10/.25. I think I'll have to change my play a bit at that level since clearly it isn't working. I feel I might be a little bit too aggressive. Most of that money earned was in 1 day at .05/.10 with a bit of run good mixed in with some skill. It just seems that people at .05/.10 are so much easier to read. Here's the dollars:And now I sit at $535.25 for my bankroll. Bleh. It's been a rollercoaster ever since I stopped playing .05/.10. I'm going to have to get used to this new limit it seems and discover new tactics to exploit the regulars there, as the ones for .05/.10 aren't working. As you see, I have been running a SLAGish 25/20/10 (3bet) game. This is a lot looser than I have been in the past, but coming back to the .05/.10 it seemed to do well for me. I'm going to go back to trying ~17/15 ish stats for .10/.25 and see how it works for me. And for fun.. most money I ever won with Ace High! ;)
